Cowboys game

Chris and I went to a Cowboys game on Saturday night. We had a lot of fun despite the heat. This was my first NFL game! I was totally stoked. Chris has pictures on his blog too, so check them out...especially the one of the hot and famous Geo who is a new Cowboys cheerleader....I know, it was a surprise to me too!
Best looking couple there!

These are the tastiest little snacks on a hot summer day or evening. We always get these when we go to the Rangers games and when we saw them Saturday night, we knew we needed to have them to cool us off.

The Cowboys just scored

Wow

Jerry Jones....talking it up.

Julius Jones.....warming up.

This is wht the Texans ran through at the beginning of the game.

The Cowboys ran out of this at the beginning of the game.

The open top of the stadium was our only hope to get cooled off.

This little guy sat in front of us during the game. He was such a good baby even though it was so hot. He was really good at givign high-fives.

I finally remebered to put pictures on here from my trip to Chattanooga. The following pictures are from the waterfront of the Tennessee River in Chattanooga. They recently built a new saltwater aquarium right beside the huge freshwater one. My stepmother, Helen, works downtown and so dad and I brought her lunch one day. We sat right on the edge of the waterfront with our feet hanging off the edge of the dock. It was so nice. We then strolled around to see all the new stuff that had been built recently. If you are ever in Chatt-town, stop on by!
This is a really interesting sight outside of the new aquarium. This is a passageway that represents the beginning of the Trail of Tears. As you can see the wading pool is underground with a walkway above it. The steps lead up the aquarium. I am taking the picture from the waterfront. The wading pool has an image made out of tile in the bottom of it, as you can see on the left of the picture, dad and Helen are looking into it. I cannot remeber what the image is, eek!
Me, being a kid again staning in the waterfall on the steps.

I really don’t have anything to say today. I am going to post some pictures from Chattanooga on here soon, but I will take this opportunity to share with you a quote that was presented in Sunday school and it was so deep.

Rupert to the class: “Do you know what answer God gave when Job asked Him why he was receiving all of the trials and tribulations?”

Class sits in silence

Rupert to the class:
“Noneya”

We had a blast Saturday. Our Sunday school group went to New Braunfels, TX and toobed down the Comal River. The water was soooo cold, but it was so worth it. We had to be at the church at a whopping 6am, but that was worth it too because by the time we left the river, there were tons o’ people there, so I am glad we got there early.

These are a few pics from the Rockin R Rides website. If you ever get a chance to take this adventure, don’t hesitate, do it!

Yikes

Do you ever feel like this?? Trying to guard or ward off something that is too big for you to handle. Take heart my friend and be encouraged:

The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Psalm 28:7

Nada

I dont have anything to write about. Yuk! I did get my camera back from home, thanks dad! But I forgot to download the pics onto my computer before Chris left with my camera when he went home. He is going to take losts of pictures of his family for all of us to see. There are some pictures out there that Denae has from when I was visiting her and she will send them to me soon (hint hint, wink wink).

One of my closest friends in the whole world is coming into town this weekend and I am so excited! Her name is Debbie and her husband was my youth minister while I was in middle school. She and her husband are now serving in ministry in Evans, GA. We are going to have so much fun!

Ok, really that is all I have for yall. I know, pathetic.
