How much reality is enough?

Are our lives not interesting enough? Why do we feel the need to be entertained by someone else’s life? I am getting so tired of all this reality TV stuff. I do see both sides of the argument here. I know that watching a reality show gives you the experience to see things that happen that you would probably never be able to experience. I know that I will more than likely never be stranded on a deserted island with fifteen other people and have a chance to win a million dollars if I make it out there for six weeks. There are just some things that we don’t need to see though.

One thing that I have learned from watching reality TV shows ( and I do admit that I watch some of them) is that most of human nature is so corrupt. Our society teaches to us to fight for what we feel like we are entitled to no matter who we step on in the process. I know that we need to stand up for what we believe in, but for what price do others have to pay for our passions?

What is your opinion?? Share with me…..

I oppose all reality TV. I believe it is the downfall of society.

Reality television makes me sick. I don't like dealing with drama, so why do I want to waste my time watching it on television? It is not even really reality. Take for instance the whole bachelor/bachelorette series. If any man went out with 20 women and each of them new about it, he would be dropped faster than a bad habit. Those women still go after the guy even after he makes out with several other women. That isn't reality!
